A rectangle that fully contains a geometry, usually represented as [minX, minY, maxX, maxY].

A bounding box is used for quick filtering, map zooming, indexing, and pricing or coverage rules. In lon/lat: X is longitude and Y is latitude. Many systems compute bbox from geometry vertices.
