Privacy Policy

Anonymous editing is private and local to your browser. We only transmit geometry if you sign in and choose Save, Load, or Send to Dashboard.

1) Anonymous use (no account)

No uploads: Editing, validation, and conversions run entirely in your browser.
No action logging: We don’t log your geometry or editing actions when you’re not signed in.
Local-only preferences: Small UI settings may be stored in your browser; clear them via your browser settings.

2) ClearSKY account & Cloud Library (optional)

Signing in is optional. If you sign in, you can Save, Load, and Send to Dashboard. These features store only what’s needed to work.

What we store

Save: The geometry you choose (all or selection) as GeoJSON, the name you provide, timestamps, and your account ID.
Load: Lets you view or delete items previously saved to your Cloud Library.
Send to Dashboard: Saves geometry like “Save” and opens the Dashboard with your AOI prefilled for ordering.
We do not store basemaps, local overlays, or unrelated browser data.

Retention, deletion & cookies

You can delete saved items from your Cloud Library; orders already created in the Dashboard keep their own copies.
Authentication uses session cookies only while you’re signed in.
We keep minimal account metadata (IDs, timestamps) needed to operate these features.

3) Analytics & tracking

We don’t track anonymous sessions or collect geometry content for analytics. If you sign in, we record only the information necessary to operate Save/Load/Send.

4) Third-party services

Basemap/overlay tiles (e.g., OpenStreetMap/Carto or your own tile servers) are provided by third parties and may have their own terms and privacy practices. Please review and comply with those providers’ requirements.

5) Security

We take reasonable measures to protect account features and stored items. No system is perfectly secure—keep local exports as backups.

6) Your choices & rights

Use the tools anonymously if you prefer—your work stays on your device.
When signed in, you can view or delete saved items in your Cloud Library.
Contact us if you have questions about data or need help with deletion.

We may update this policy. The “Updated” date at the top reflects the latest version.
