Privacy Policy
Anonymous editing is private and local to your browser. We only transmit geometry if you sign in and choose Save, Load, or Send to Dashboard.

1) Anonymous use (no account)
- No uploads: Editing, validation, and conversions run entirely in your browser.
- No content collection: We do not collect or store your geometry content or the text you paste into the editor.
- Local-only preferences: Small UI settings may be stored in your browser. Clear them via your browser settings.
2) ClearSKY account & Cloud Library (optional)
Signing in is optional. If you sign in, you can Save, Load, and Send to Dashboard. These features store only what is needed to work.
What we store
- Save: The geometry you choose (all or selection) as GeoJSON, the name you provide, timestamps, and your account ID.
- Load: Lets you view or delete items previously saved to your Cloud Library.
- Send to Dashboard: Saves geometry like “Save” and opens the Dashboard with your AOI prefilled for ordering.
- We do not store basemaps, local overlays, or unrelated browser data.
Retention, deletion & cookies
- You can delete saved items from your Cloud Library. Orders already created in the Dashboard keep their own copies.
- Authentication uses session cookies only while you’re signed in.
- We keep minimal account metadata (IDs, timestamps) needed to operate these features.
3) Anonymous insights
We collect anonymous, aggregated insights about how visitors use the site so we can improve reliability and usability. This is not ad tracking, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
What we measure
- High-level usage counts (for example, which pages are visited).
- Performance and stability signals (for example, load time and errors).
- Broad technical context (for example, browser type and device class).
What we do not do
- We do not collect your geometry content for analytics.
- We do not do cross-site tracking or behavioral advertising.
- We do not try to identify you from these insights.
Like any website, network and security data may be processed to deliver the service and protect it from abuse. We use it for security and operations, not for tracking people.
4) Third-party services
Basemap and overlay tiles (for example, OpenStreetMap, Carto, or your own tile servers) are provided by third parties and may have their own terms and privacy practices. Please review and comply with those providers’ requirements.
5) Security
We take reasonable measures to protect account features and stored items. No system is perfectly secure. Keep local exports as backups.
6) Your choices & rights
- Use the tools anonymously if you prefer. Your work stays on your device.
- When signed in, you can view or delete saved items in your Cloud Library.
- Contact us if you have questions about data or need help with deletion.
7) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “Updated” date at the top reflects the latest version.
