KML to CSV Converter — free & private
Upload KML (or paste XML) and export a CSV with geometry metadata (WKT, area, centroid, bbox, topology) and flattened properties. Runs fully in your browser — no server uploads.
FAQ
Is my KML uploaded?
No — everything runs locally in your browser (no server uploads).
What columns does the CSV contain?
id, geometry_type, wkt, area_m2, area_km2, centroid_lon, centroid_lat, bbox_minx, bbox_miny, bbox_maxx, bbox_maxy, parts, holes, vertices, label, plus one column per property key found in the KML features.
Does it work with multiple Placemarks?
Yes. Each parsed feature becomes one CSV row.
Are area/centroid values accurate everywhere?
They’re computed directly from the parsed coordinates as-is (no CRS detection). If your data isn’t WGS84 lon/lat (EPSG:4326) or has an unusual CRS, results may be off.
Want to order satellite data for your polygons?
ClearSKY uses data fusion to deliver cloud-free imagery and robust time series at scale. Upload your polygons and place orders in minutes.
