Is my WKT uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser for speed and privacy.
What WKT inputs are supported?
You can paste a single WKT geometry (it can span multiple lines) or paste multiple geometries with one WKT per line. EWKT like SRID=4326;POLYGON(...) is also accepted.
What GeoJSON output type should I choose?
Use Geometry for the bare shape, Feature if you want properties, and FeatureCollection if you have multiple geometries (or if you want a standard collection wrapper).
What happens if I paste multiple WKTs but selected Geometry output?
The tool will promote the output to a GeometryCollection (and warn you). For Feature output, it promotes to FeatureCollection when there are multiple geometries.
Does GeoJSON include SRID / CRS information?
GeoJSON has no standard SRID field. If your input is EWKT (SRID=…;...), you can optionally copy the SRID into Feature properties (properties.srid). The map preview assumes WGS84 (EPSG:4326).
What happens to Z / M / ZM dimensions?
If enabled, the tool drops Z/M/ZM tokens before parsing (for compatibility with common GeoJSON pipelines). This does not reproject coordinates; it only removes extra dimensions.
I pasted GeoJSON by mistake — why do I get an error?
This converter expects WKT/EWKT. If you already have GeoJSON, use GeoJSON → WKT instead (or open the full editor).
How do I fix invalid polygons (self-intersections, broken rings)?
This tool converts formats; it doesn’t repair geometry. Use the full editor for fixes like simplify, dissolve, buffer, remove holes, or self-intersection cleanup.
Can I convert GeoJSON back to WKT?
Yes — use the GeoJSON → WKT tool, or open the full editor and export as WKT.
