AOI (Area of Interest)
The geographic region you care about, often a polygon or set of polygons used for analysis or ordering data.

AOI is a workflow term more than a file format. In satellite imagery and analytics, AOIs define where data should be collected, processed, billed, or reported (fields, forests, project sites). AOIs are commonly exchanged as WKT or GeoJSON polygons.
